Battle of the Bands Blood Drives

Earn fundraising money for your band by MARCHING into a donor center this February!

We know the cancellation of Mardi Gras has hurt each of you financially. This program was created to celebrate, support and recognize your integral role in the celebration of carnival.

How it works:

• Rival groups encourage band members, their parents, student body, parent associations, and alumni groups to donate blood in support of the band.
• Your band will receive a $5 credit for each blood donation made in your name. At the end of the month the band with the most donations will receive a $250 bonus, plus bragging rights!!
• Blood donors must be at least 17 years old and weigh 110 lbs. or 16 years old weighing 130 lbs. (With parent’s permission.)

Where to go:

Participating bands can donate at any one of our Donor Centers located in Hammond, Harvey, Mandeville, Metairie, Slidell, and Thibodaux (Click to view hours of operation and locations).

If you would like to participate in the program but don’t have a center in your area, we would be more than happy to bring a blood drive to you!

Each participating band will receive a unique group number that must be given upon donation in order to receive credit.
